İstanbul’un Asya yakasında, Boğaz’ın Marmara Denizi’ne açıldığı bölgede, bir tarafı İstanbul şehir merkezine ve Boğaz’ın güney girişine diğer tarafı ise Fenerbahçe ve Adalar’a bakan tepelik bir burun üzerinde kurulu bulunan Moda kalabalık fakat sakin bir yerleşim bölgesidir. İstanbul’un diğer kesimlerine göre ılıman bir iklimin hüküm sürdüğü Moda parkları, bahçeleri ve deniz kıyısında yoğun bir kuş nüfusu barındırmaktadır.
Moda is a crowded but peaceful residential area located on the Asian side of Istanbul at the top of a hilly cape where the Bosphorus meets the Sea of Marmara. It has therefore on one side the south entrance of the Bosphorus and Istanbul city center and on the other side Fenerbahçe and the Princes’ Islands. Moda has a temperate climate compared to the other parts of Istanbul and shelters a dense population of birds in the parks, gardens and on the seashore.
