Bu blogun amacı, İstanbul'da oturduğum semt olan Moda ve çevresinde hangi kuş türlerinin yaşadığını çektiğim fotoğraflar ile belgeleyip sergilemek ve bu kuşlar hakkında öğrendiklerimi sizlerle paylaşmaktır. Doğal yaşam ortamı iki adet park (Moda ve Yoğurtçu Parkları) ile deniz kıyısında Kadıköy'den Kurbağalıdere'ye kadar uzanan çimenler ve ağaçlarla kaplı 2 km.'lik bir sahil yolundan ibaret bulunan Moda'da sıradışı kuş türlerinin yaşamadığı bir gerçek; fakat, şehir kuşlarının bile izlemeye değer güzellikler sunduklarına inanıyorum.

The purpose of this blog is to document and show with my photos the bird species that live in Moda, the neighbourhood where I reside in Istanbul, and to share with you the things I learn about these birds. Since the natural habitat in Moda consists only two parks (Moda and Yoğurtçu Parks) and a 2-km coast path covered with lawn and trees running from Kadıköy to Kurbağalıdere it is a fact that there are no extraordinary bird species; however, I believe that even the city birds offer a remarkable beauty.
