Canon Powershot SX40 HS

Yeni makinem Canon Powershot SX40 HS ile çektiğim bir fotoğraf. Kuş fotoğrafları çekmek için DSLR makine ve 150-500 mm lensten oluşan ağır ekipmanımı taşımak istemediğim durumlarda artık bu küçük kompakt makinem ile çekim yapacağım. SX40 HS ultra-zoom özelliğine sahip; 35 x optik zoom’u ve ayrıca optik zoom yetersiz kaldığı takdirde kullanılabilecek x1.5x ve x2.0 oranında dijital tele-konvertörü var. Makinenin tek kusuru algılayıcısının çok küçük olması (1/2.3) fakat Canon’un Digic 5 işlemcisi ve HS sistemi sayesinde internette yayınlamak için güzel fotoğraflar elde edilebiliyor. Bu post biraz Canon’un reklâmı oldu, ama ne yapayım, SX40 HS beklemediğim ölçüde iyi performans gösteren bir makine çıktı ve ben de bu sevincimi sizle paylaşmak istedim :)

Not: Yukarıdaki fotoğraf SX 40 HS’in Auto veya P modunda makinenin kendi ayarları ile değil, Manuel modda kendi belirlediğim ISO, enstantene, diyafram değerleri ile çekilmiştir. Post-processing olarak sadece çok hafif Level-Curves ayarı yapılmış, Sharpness (keskinlik) veya Noise Reduction (kumlanmayı giderme) işlemleri uygulanmamıştır. Çekim 35x optik zoom + x2.0 dijital tele-konvertör uygulanarak elde gerçekleştirilmiştir.  

A photo that I took with my new camera, Canon Powershot SX40 HS. From now on, I will use this little compact camera for bird photography when I do not want to carry my heavy DSLR and 150-500 mm lens. Canon Powershot SX40 HS is a 35x ultra zoom compact camera and has also a digital tele-convertor of x1.5 and x2.0. It has a very small sensor (1/2.3) but, thanks to Canon’s new Digic 5 image processor and HS system, it is possible to make nice photos to be published on the web. This post has been an advertisement of Canon but SX40 HS has a very good performance beyond my expectations and I just wanted to share my joy with you :)

P.S. I took the photo hereabove not in Auto or P mode but in Manual mode with my own ISO, shutter speed, aperture settings. In post-processing I slightly made a Level-Curves adjustment but did not increase Sharpness or did not reduce Noise. The focal length of this handheld shot is 35x optic zoom + x2.0 digital tele-convertor.
