Rusya'dan Merhaba! / Hello from Russia!

Geçtiğimiz Cumartesi sabahı Türk Hava Yolları'nın İstanbul-Moskova uçağına bindim ve bir haftalığına çok merak ettiğim bir ülke olan Rusya'yı ziyarete geldim. Saraylar, kiliseler ve müzeler arasında kültür ve sanat ağırlıklı olarak devam eden gezim sırasında kuş gözlemini de ihmal etmedim. Gerek Moskova gerek Saint-Petersburg'da İstanbul'da olduğu gibi serçeler, kargalar ve güvercinler ağırlıkta. Fakat Moskova'da İstanbul'dan farklı olarak sadece gri-yeşil renkli adi güvercinler değil beyaz güvercinler de göze çarpıyor. İstanbul'da beyaz güvercin genellikle kafes kuşudur, doğal ortamda zor rastlanır; Moskova'da ise her yerde uçuşuyorlar. Moskova Nehri kıyısında fotoğrafladığım bu güzellikleri sizlere sunarken hepinize iyi bir haftasonu diliyorum. 

Last Saturday early in the morning I took the Turkish Airlines flight from Istanbul to Moscow and I came to visit for one week Russia which was a country I was very curious about. Although this is mainly a culture and art tour and I spend my time mostly in palaces, churches and museums I do not forget birdwatching. Just like in Istanbul, I have observed lots of house sparrows, crows and pigeons also in Moscow and in Saint-Petersburg. However, unlike Istanbul, Moscow houses not only grey-green coloured common pigeons but white pigeons as well. In Istanbul white pigeons are generally caged and hard to find free in nature; in Moscow you can see them fly everywhere. So here I offer you the beauties I photographed over the Moscow River and I wish you all a very nice weekend.
